Jeffrey Dufon

Attorney Dufon joined the law office in 2002. Prior to joining our office, he was a partner in a local Kalamazoo firm and an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Kalamazoo County. Jeff graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology, and acquired his Juris Doctorate at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1991.

Jeff oversees the criminal defense practice in our office. This includes such matters as juvenile law, minor in possession, drunk driving, drivers license restoration, drug charges, domestic violence and felonies and misdemeanors.

Jeff is the founding member of the Kalamazoo County Sobriety Court, a program designed to prevent repeat offenders. Jeff is also a member of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association, the Michigan State Bar Association, the Kalamazoo County Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan and a member of the Mattawan School Board.
